Kali Uchis and Jorja Smith

May 24, 2019

Gifted Colombian-American left-field pop songstress Kali Uchis is genre-defying in all senses of the the word, rising to mainstream attention via a series of mix-tapes that blended early soul, doo-wop, reggae, R&B and hip hop influences in the mid 2010s. Following collaborations with the likes of Tyler, the Creator, the Gorillaz, BadBadNotGood and Snoop Dogg, she dropped her debut album Isolation in early 2018 and immediately hit the top five in the Billboard R&B/hip-hop albums chart.

2017 marked an incredible year for talented young performer Billie Eilish. Signed to Interscope records, the 17 year-old dark pop songstress transformed her status as fledgeling artist to powerhouse performer to watch with the release of her triumphant debut EP Don't Smile At Me. Now she's starting as she means to go on in 2019 with a world wide tour!

Australian born singer-songwriter Betty Who is classically trained, but when she started attending the Berklee College of Music for cello, her focus began to lean towards writing songs. It was whilst she was at College that she met producer Peter Thomas. Together, they began penning and recording original material inspired by Joni Mitchell, Carole King and synth pop and ended up making the impossibly catchy Somebody Loves You, which went on to reach the number one position in the US Dance Chart.

Originally making a name for himself as a rocker/scene kid vocalist, Matthew Musto AKA Blackbear broke into the mainstream as a co-writer on Justin Bieber's 2012 megahit Boyfriend. Whilst flexing his pop music chops as a writer and collaborator for the likes G-Eazy, Childish Gambino, Pharell Williams and Miley Cyrus amongst others, the talented young upstart reinvented himself as a rapper, releasing his debut album Deadroses in 2015.

Considered the forerunners of the Tejano and Norteno music genres, Intocable (Spanish for Untouchable) found its roots in Zapata, Texas in the early 90s. Started by dynamic duo Ricky Munoz and Rene Martinez, the band became a platform for their expertly fused pop melodies, traditional folk rhythms, romantic balladry and a rock and roll swagger.
